Rising Above the Tide: Rebuilding After Floods

When the seasonal floods submerged the low-lying haor areas of Sunamganj, the Rahman family lost their home and crops. Standard relief efforts provided temporary food, but true hope arrived with our flood rehabilitation program. Through public support, we constructed raised-platform homes that stand resilient against rising waters, and launched a solar-powered boat school so children didn't miss a day of education. Now, the Rahmans and their neighbors have returned to stable living, proving that adapting to climate change is possible when communities unite.
