Safe Water for Coastal Communities

In the coastal region of Satkhira, groundwater salinity made clean drinking water a rare luxury. Young children and pregnant mothers constantly suffered from waterborne diseases. Through our Clean Water initiative, we installed a deep tubewell and rainwater harvesting system in the heart of the village. For the first time, families have access to pure, safe drinking water right at their doorstep. Clean water has not only improved health, but also reduced the daily burden on women who used to walk miles to fetch it.
