A street child in Dhaka finds shelter, hot meals, and a pathway to literacy.

Ten-year-old Shakil spent his days collecting plastic on the chaotic streets of Dhaka to buy a single meal. Education was a distant concept. Our Street Children Outreach project offered him a safe harbor. Through the project, Shakil joined a non-formal learning center, receiving nutritious hot meals, basic literacy lessons, and clean clothes. Now, Shakil has transitioned into a formal primary school. Instead of carrying sacks of plastic, he proudly carries a schoolbag, taking confident steps toward a brighter future.
